SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2013

Join the Texas Land Conservancy for a fun day of volunteering and guided hiking at the Oak Cliff Nature Preserve located in the heart of the Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas. This 120-acre preserve has 8-miles of trails co-maintained by the Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association (DORBA) and visited by thousands of bikers and hikers each year. Now it's time to give back. Help us fight invasive species, maintain the trails, and pick up trash on this well-loved preserve. Please arrive by 8:45 so we can begin promptly at 9:00. Bring closed-toed shoes, water, and sunscreen. If you have them, bring your favorite work gloves and pruning tools (loppers or handsaws). We’ll work until noon. Children over 12 are welcome, if accompanied by an adult.
