Join us for TLC’s Birthday Party! We’ll have good food, good beer from Friends and Allies Brewing, and we’re really excited to have Austin Astronomical Society and Mason Star Gazers join us with their telescopes so we can get a closer look at the moon and four planets. Joyce Lucas, the owner of the ranch says the moon rising over the field is a sight you don’t want to miss! So come join us in celebrating TLC’s 36th birthday with food, friends, and the night sky!
Ticket includes dinner, beer, dessert, and a tour of the night sky.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How long does it take to get to the ranch?
A: It’s about 1.5 hours from Austin and 2 hours from San Antonio
Q: Are there places to stay around there?
A: Here is a great resource for places to stay and things to do in Llano!
Q: What time does it start/end?
A: The official start time is 6:30pm, but we understand that people will be coming in at different times. We’ll have food and beer and can hang out down by the river from 6:30-7:30. We ask that folks arrive in that time frame so no one is pulling up after dark. We’ll watch the sunset around 7:45, and the tour of the sky will start as soon as it gets dark. We’ll finish up around 10:30.
Q: Will there be bathrooms?
A: Yes! We will have a portable toilet on site.
Q: What should I bring?
A: You’ll want to bring folding chairs, and a red flashlight or headlamp if you have one. You are also welcome to bring your own utensils (plates, forks, cups) to reduce waste.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We will be there rain or shine. Ticket purchases are final.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Since this event is on private property, we ask that you please leave your pups at home.
